Earth to Ocean is a limited company based in the UK whose approach is underpinned by over 15 years of experience in the field of natural resource management, marine park management, harbour management, environmental consultancy, management consultancy, academia, business development. Our core team works closely with a number of associates:

Susie Tomson has an MSc in Water and Environmental Management, a PhD in Integrated Coastal Management and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA). She has worked as a coastal zone management consultant, marine park manager, harbour board member and environmental advisor. Susie's most recent work has involved managing the environmental impact of a major sporting event.

Kate Chapman (nee Moore) has an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice and is an Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA). Kate worked as a management consultant, specialising in organisational change and leadership development before retraining in sustainable business practice and environmental management.  Her work has focussed particularly within the recreational marine sector and managing the impacts of recreational boating on the environment.

Leanne Fernandes is an Associate of Earth to Ocean running the Australian sister company, Earth to Ocean Australia (www.earth2ocean.com). Leanne has a PhD in coastal management and economics and prior to setting up Earth to Ocean Australia worked for the Great Barrier Marine Park Authority managing their Representative Areas Program.

Emma Westmacott is a professional sailor and outdoor fitness specialist. Emma has worked as a professional sailor for almost 20 years combining it with her well established personal training business where she specialises in utilising the outdoors. She has cycled the Etap du Tour, has run half marathons and has sailed around the world as Watch Captain in the 2002 Volvo Ocean Race.
